Insurance Client Handler (Personal Lines Employee Benefits Team)

We are currently working with a successful Insurance Brokers, who are now seeking to recruit a Client Advisor on to their Employee Benefits team (Personal Lines). This is a great opportunity to join the Employee Benefits Servicing and Underwriting team (Personal Lines) which looks after a large number of existing clients, including an exclusive audience of employees and pensioners of several top worldwide companies.


You will be responsible for focusing on retaining and servicing clients, be responsible for underwriting and decision making, together with servicing day-to-day enquiries, handling renewals and developing and growing an existing book of business through Up and Cross-selling.


You will also work under a delegated authority with a major insurer which means you don’t act in the traditional role of a broker only, but make underwriting decisions about new business, MTAs and renewals.


This broker enjoys very high retention rates of over 90% which demonstrates the quality of its service delivery. Therefore, an ability to deliver a high standard of client service is crucial to be a success.


To be considered for the position you will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in Personal Lines Insurance: Home and Motor ideal, but Home or Motor only will be considered as well as have started, or have a desire to start and achieve Cert CII within 12-month timeframe.


You will also be an enthusiastic, confident communicator with strong customer service values and be able to show demonstrable ability to work under pressure in a varied environment. Knowledge of Acturis broking system would be advantageous, although not essential.


Salary on offer is £22-25,000, plus excellent company benefits. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5pm
