Group Conduct Officer (General Insurance) Midlands areas

We are currently working with an ambitious Insurance Group who have shown impressive growth recently with some key strategic acquisitions. They now seek to appoint a Group Conduct officer (Compliance), ideally based in the Midlands area, although they will also consider those based further North.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing offices with all necessary information, guidance, advice and documentation to help ensure offices are compliant with FCA and other regulatory and/or group requirements as determined by the Chief Risk Officer. You will also be required to assist offices in the implementation of new/changed requirements, act as a Risk & Compliance focal point for offices regarding day to day activities, be involved in the design and delivery of compliance training, take part in Group or office/business projects as required which may include establishing, drafting and implementation of key areas such as Group standards.


To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Risk/Compliance position within the General Insurance arena, and possess good FCA regulatory knowledge as well as awareness of other applicable regulatory areas e.g. Data Protection and string knowledge of the General Insurance industry and market. Those with previous experience in a broking environment are particularly sought after!


You will be able to remain calm under pressure, be flexible regarding potential travel to other business sites and above all be an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player, who also has the ability to be highly diplomatic!

Salary on offer is £40-50k depending on experience.
