Paraplanner - Cheltenham

We are currently working with an independent financial advisers who are now seeking to appoint a Paraplanner to join their growing team! This will initially be based at their Worcester Offices for a 3-month period whilst training before joining a new office in Cheltenham which opens in May 2018.


With a number of their advisers having the pension specialist qualification (G60), they are particularly keen to find someone who are experienced working with pension transfer cases for DB pensions, as well as all other products. The successful candidate will be required to provide technical research, analysis, file preparation and suitability reports to the designated adviser.


Those with the G60 and/or the AF3 qualification are highly sought after, although they are happy to see candidates who are qualified from experience alone, again if you possess strong knowledge of DB pensions, and report writing. You will be responsible for supporting one Advisor, who is a specialist in this area and who holds the G60 qualification.


You will also need to have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work unsupervised, being a highly professional self-starter.

Salary on offer £35-50k, dependent on experience with 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays and a break between Christmas and New Year as stipulated by the company.
