Commercial Insurance New Business Account Handler/Executive

We are currently recruiting for a well-known local insurance broking firm who have an opportunity for someone with 3 years plus commercial insurance experience to join them in their office based in Henley on Thames as a Commercial New Business Account Handler.

Your role will be to understand and approach businesses in terms of their insurance and risk management and to design and administer insurance solutions for the protection of their material assets and liabilities. The client is looking for those who enjoy solving problems and meeting the risks of a diverse client base. Property owners, construction, engineering companies, and sole traders, are amongst the clients larger clients with extensive requirements including guidance on their insurance.

In your activity of developing and broking business opportunities you will have access to a wide range of market leading wholesale and insurer underwriters in order to place any amount or type of commercial insurance. The broker you will be joining is expertly lead by those who have been in the market for many years and have earned an enviable reputation.

For this role you will need commercial insurance broking experience and new business development skills alongside a desire to build a book of business. Previous experience of developing a commercial insurance book will be a strong advantage but exceptions are considered for those who have previously managed a large commercial portfolio.

The role is supported to ensure your success in terms of marketing, databases, access to leading insurance products and networks.

Basic salary up to £30k plus bonuses.
