Insurance Sales Advisers x2

We are working with a well-known Romford based Insurance Broker who actively invests in the training and advancement of staff and pride themselves in offering the highest levels of expertise and customer service.

They now have 2 exciting openings to join them on their New Business Team as Sales Advisors. You will be responsible for the efficient handling of customer enquiries and for the delivery of accurate and informative new business insurance quotations for Motor and Household insurance in a large and successful team.

They are keen to speak to those with a proven track record in dealing with motor and/or household insurance but will also consider applications from candidates who have experience working in a call centre sales-based role, as they have an in-house training academy, so can teach you the insurance skills you will need in this role!

Being such a customer focused business, they want to speak to you if you are the sort of person who constantly focuses on customer care and also possess an excellent telephone manner and call handling techniques, as well as being able to perform efficiently and effectively working under pressure in a call centre environment.

The role itself will require you to speak to a large volume of new insurance customers over the telephone and ensure that each enquiry is dealt with in a comprehensive, complete and professional manner, with the ultimate goal of making the sale!

You will be responsible for liaising with insurers regarding underwriting terms and requirements, to perform appropriate administrative procedures in accordance with company guidelines and produce accurate and professional correspondence including letters, emails and memos for customers and underwriters.

You will also be required to Interpret and implement all cross-sell opportunities and promote awareness of the range of products and services that the Company offer to all new customers.

Maximum 40 hours per week with shifts to include 2 weeks of earlies, a week of mid shifts, 1 week late and 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Basic salary on offer is £14,000 up to £19,000 per annum dependent on experience plus additional Bonus payments available on a monthly basis (to £600 per month + an extra £500 per annum available for 100% attendance) i.e £19k Basic with OTE would be around the £26,700 mark.
