Trainee Insurance Account Handler

This role would suit an individual looking to start a great career in insurance as the position offers full training and offers the successful individual the opportunity to gain qualifications within the sector to become a fully qualified Insurance account handler. You will need to have GCSE grade C or above or equivalent in Maths and English, experience using Microsoft Excel on a regular basis, enjoy telephone work and be looking for a career within the insurance industry. Your role as a Trainee Account Handler will require you to liaise with clients via telephone and email, provide support to the broking team with all administration duties, respond to queries and enquires via email and telephone, update and maintain accurate records and files, update and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with lots of data processing and updating of database systems. You will also be trained to prepare new business quotations for new and existing clients, support busy renewal activities, and ensuring high levels of business retention - collating renewal dates/diaries and preparing information for renewal terms as well as liaising with Insurers/Underwriters and liaising with senior account handlers for guidance an instruction when required

This is a full-time role, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am-5.15pm with one hour for lunch.

Salary is £18-£22k per annum plus discretionary bonus.
