Area Sales Manager - Medical Asset Finance

An excellent career opportunity has arisen to join a leading Finance Broker and Direct Lender to the medical markets. It commands an excellent reputation and is well-known brand particularly in the Medical arena where this role will sit.

Due to promotion of the previous role holder, they are now looking to appoint a new home-based Area Sales Manager to cover the Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England areas (specific locations to cover are Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northumberland, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Cleveland, North Yorkshire and the Isle of Man)

You will be responsible for managing and generating new finance business within a given territory. A large proportion of business is sourced through existing channels however the you will also be able to demonstrate the drive and ambition to increase business levels by cultivating and developing new business streams within the businesses core markets.

You will ideally have experience in a similar commercial asset finance-based sales role, or as a minimum have gained 5 years plus sales experience working for a Lender of some description. However, they will also consider those from a medical sales background, as this is the area this role will service, so feel someone from this background would also have the knowledge needed to be a success. Exceptional communication skills are also a must, along with an ethical approach to business, a good attention to detail and natural enthusiasm that surpasses the norm!

The successful candidate will be joining a highly driven and motivated team, and you will be expected to demonstrate a good work ethic alongside being confident, self-reliant and persistent. First class client-facing presentation is essential and your ability to build early rapport and long-term relationships with customers is crucial as well as possessing excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Salary dependant on experience circa £45 -£50k basic, plus quarterly bonus with the potential of company car, Pension Scheme, private medical on completion of probationary period,
