Operational Underwriter

We are currently working with a leading UK Insurance Group whose head office is in Huntingdon, and who do to the creation of a new team are looking to appoint an Operational Underwriter.

This is a really varied role and will sit on this newly created delegated authority team.

Based out of Huntingdon and London, this new team are responsible for ensuring that the Delegated Authority requirements are adhered to. As Operational Underwriter, you will conduct scheme reviews, prepare and manage delivery of product specifications and lead on system development projects.

To be successful in this role, you will have good industry knowledge of insurance market principles and practice, excellent communication skills and good analytical skills. You will also need to have very strong IT skills.

A minimum of 2 years broking or underwriting experience is required to be considered for this role, with you ideally being Cert CII Qualified, although this is not essential.

Salary on offer is negotiable dependant on experience. There is also a comprehensive benefits package available
