Senior Commercial Claims Handler (Leading to management)

It is now keen to add an ambitious Senior Commercial Claims professional to its team, with the opportunity in this role to progress to Assistant Claims Manager.

You will handle a variety of claims including Property, Employers Liability, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and D&O being responsible for delivering a high-quality professional advice service to clients regarding any claims issues, liaising with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process and effectively managing clients’ expectations. You will manage claims from receipt of notification of loss through to conclusion. Being the Senior Claims Handler on the team, you will also act as a focal point for the team in terms of being the technical lead and help train and mentor more junior members of the claims team. You will also get to go on client visits with the Claims Manager and Directors, so you must be well presented and confident in these sort of business situations.

To be considered for this role, strong previous commercial claims handling experience is essential, be that in a broker, insurer or loss adjusters. As a minimum, this must include Property and Liability claims. You must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and inspire confidence in those around you.

You will be rewarded with a very competitive starting salary of £32-37k, dependant on experience plus pension and 25 days holidays (plus banks holidays)

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm with a 5pm finish on a Friday.
