Insurance Claims Handler (Trainee candidates considered)

We are currently working with a leading independent Insurance Broking Group, who have a strong reputation within the construction insurance arena and who have demonstrated very impressive growth over the last 2 years.

They are a growth orientated company, that can offer genuine career progression and development for bright and ambitious insurance professionals.

Due to this growth they are now looking to add to their commercial claims team and are willing to consider school or college leavers looking for a career, or candidates with some claims knowledge and experience, with the salary being at the upper end of the scale for those with claims experience.

They are looking for switched on candidates who are keen to learn and prepared to take on the studies to become Cert CII qualified.

The role will involve negotiating losses with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors or third-party brokers/insurers. You will deal with all aspects of claims handling from initial notification through to settlement and all ongoing administration. Working closely with commercial brokers and account executives to ensure that a complete service is provided. (of course, for school or college leavers, full training and support is provided)

As stated previously the business will also sponsor every member of staff through the Certification in Insurance provided by The Chartered Insurance Institute to become CII qualified, so a genuinely excellent opportunity.

The starting salary is £16-23,000, again wholly dependent on your experience (or lack of).
