High Net Worth Account Handler

We are currently recruiting for a well-established local insurance broking firm who have an opportunity for someone with strong mid to high net worth insurance experience to join them in their office based in Chingford, as a Senior High Net Worth Account Handler.

As a firm, they specialise in providing cross-class commercial (B2B) and personal lines (B2C) insurance solutions to a diverse range of industry sectors, and the current book of business is made up of cross class commercial as well as a large Personal Lines book, with a large number of Household and High Net Worth/VIP clients.

They are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic insurance professional with at least 3 years insurance broking experience, gained dealing with mid to Hugh Net Worth clients. As such Mid-HNW technical ability is essential as well as strong VIP client handling skills.

You will also get the opportunity to be trained in commercial insurance and gain some exposure in this area too, so a really nice opportunity for a strong private clients professional to learn the commercial side of broking, so this role really will offer the opportunity to diversify into a hybrid type broking role.

You will be responsible for providing quotations, placing risks on cover, administering mid-term adjustments and helping to develop the business by maintaining excellent customer service standards, which this firm has become renowned for. Above all you will be ambitious and motivated, looking to join a company that offers a very grown up working environment, and one which does not micro manage its staff. You will be a great team player with good IT skills (Acturis system experience would be a big advantage) and an excellent telephone manner.

Salary on offer is £25-32k, depending on experience. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm, so no shifts and no Saturdays!
