Trainee/Junior Commercial Underwriter

We are currently working closely with a well-known and long-standing Underwriting Agency/MGA in the City who due to organic growth are now seeking to appoint a Trainee/Junior Underwriter to the Commercial Lines Team. They write and broker a wide range of commercial business, so offer a great place to learn your trade!

They are not looking for a great deal of experience in a similar role, so will consider someone with a genuine interest in the insurance industry looking to get a foot in the door, or someone that has done some work experience or internship within a similar role/industry.

You will initially be trained to process commercial insurance renewals and ensure terms are provided to agents within good time prior to renewal date and then also learn to and then deal with the supply of new business quotations to customers as well as actioning mid-term adjustments.

In return, the salary on offer is £20,000 to start
