Trainee Insurance Service Advisor

We are currently working with an exciting Insure Tech business, who due to a spike in new workload now have an excellent opportunity for someone to join them as an insurance sales and customer service advisor, dealing with motor insurance based in modern offices in Rainham, with full insurance training provided!

One of your most important responsibilities will be to delight their customers. You’ll be helping customers throughout their journey, not just at new business stage. They want to see that you have a real interest in people and a passion for value-added service providing end-to-end support for new and renewing customers. You’ll be working with underwriting and customer operations colleagues, so you’ll need to be great at communicating and enjoy being part of a team!

You will be responsible for hitting renewal and new business targets for Motor Insurance quotes and renewals, this will involve making outbound calls to try and get existing customers to renew their insurance with the business, using appropriate methods to achieve closure and achieving performance targets and KPI’s whilst always delivering a premium customer experience. You will also be required to up-sell and cross-sell suitable products and services where applicable.

It’s important to them that you can demonstrate a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver outstanding customer service with an enthusiastic sales ability and the drive to learn more. They like to work with people who prioritise professional development, and will support your education through workshops, seminars and conferences.

To be considered for this role you will need some form of customer service or sales experience, but again full insurance training will be provided!

This is a full-time position. Benefits provided are free onsite parking, and also provided is a daily allowance (£4) to enable you to grab breakfast or lunch in the on-site canteen.

The contact centre opening times are 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm on Saturdays and 9am - 5pm on bank holidays. You’ll work a 35-hour week on rotating shifts with a day off in the week for working a Saturday. You will receive 28 days annual holiday allowance.

Salary on offer is £18-20k depending on experience.
