Group Claims Manager - Home based (with travel)
An exciting opportunity is now available to a join leading UK Insurance Group in a home-based role, who due to continued growth are now seeking to appoint someone to join them as a Group Claims Manager, working in the Delegated Authority area of their business.
Again, this role will be home based with the expectation of regular travel to offices in Cambridgeshire and London (at least 1 day a week in both)
This isn’t a true Claims Manager role as our client don’t actually have their own claims team internally as their claims are administered by TPA’s, so this role will involve the monitoring and tracking of all incoming claims with their TPA’s, analysing trends and suggesting service improvements.
In a nutshell you will deal with daily, weekly and monthly claims files for their businesses in the group, handling all this businesses MGA's claims with direct contact with TPA’s (insurers/loss adjusters), sitting in on insurer meetings, discussing loss ratios and ways to improve as well as dealing with subrogation pieces for their insurers.
Previous experience in at a similar level in an insurance claims role is needed to be considered for this role.
Salary on offer is around the £48k mark, possibly £50k for the right person. There is also a comprehensive benefits package available.
