Commercial Insurance Account Handler/Advisor

CKB Recruitment are delighted to be working with an insurance business who have a fantastic opportunity available to join them initially working from home, then based in their Northallerton, office, to join their Commercial Insurance team.
As a Customer Advisor/Account Handler, you’ll be working at the heart of an ambitious expanding local business with exciting future growth plans. You will be tasked with proactively maximise sales, by both cross-selling products to existing clients and generating new business for Commercial clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone career minded who wants to work for a business who offer first class training and development for all its staff.
Your work will involve dealing with a mixture of new business, mid-term adjustments, renewal reviews and claims handling, but this business are keen to speak to those who will proactively look for sales opportunities by identify new business opportunities as well as looking to cross sell.
You will be self-motivated, driven and ready promote the business at every turn to achieve the businesses goals as well as your individual targets. Above all you’ll have the ability to translate potential into revenue and relish the challenge to drive the growth of a truly customer focused business, so just as important as your experience will be your attitude and focus on being successful in your career, and a genuine desire to achieve the best possible customer outcome!
A wide range of people will be considered for this role, as we mentioned above first and foremost your attitude and personality are key here, but you will also need personal lines insurance experience as a minimum. You will also need a minimum of 5 GSCE’s A-C (including English and Maths).

Office hours are 8:45am to 5:15pm and the salary on offer is £18-25k depending on experience, although this can be negotiated on up to £30k if you are an experienced Commercial Insurance professional.
