Insurance Sales Opportunities - Full insurance training can be provided

We are currently working with a leading independent Insurance Broking Group, who have a strong reputation within the construction insurance arena and who have demonstrated very impressive growth over the last 2 years. They now have impressive plans to bring in around another 30 members of staff over the next 24 months and as such are keen to speak to sales people who want to work for a progressive and results orientated business.

They are looking for a number of strong, hardworking and focused salespeople to join them to train to become commercial insurance professionals, and have openings on their New Business team, Sales Support team and Renewals team! They are keen to speak with both experienced commercial insurance candidates as well as sales professionals who are looking for a change of industry/career for the sales and renewals team openings. They will consider people with 1 year’s office experience, who are career mined to join their sales support team.

Once trained, and on the new business team, you will be responsible for dealing with B2B sales calls for commercial insurance, building strong client relationships and winning new business! You will be required to make outbound sales calls, so a strong and confident telephone manner is essential. You will be dealing with various commercial insurances and a wide range of clients, but specialising in Construction, Manufacturing and Contractor clients, where you will build your own book of clients, and then earn bonuses on the initial sale and then at each yearly renewal date!

On the renewals team, you will be tasked with looking after existing clients and making sure they get a first-class service, to make sure the business retains their custom.

On the Sales support team, you will be responsible for providing admin support to the other two teams, processing insurance paperwork, issuing letter to clients and providing any other assistance that these teams require.

The business will also sponsor every member of staff through the Certification in Insurance provided by The Chartered Insurance Institute to become a chartered Insurance Broker.

The starting salary is £17-26k basic, which will all be dependent on experience/background with the higher end being for those with commercial insurance sales experience already gained or those with a proven new business sale track record, with this rising with every progression you make with the business. Realistic OTE of £45-75k!
