Senior Broker Technician

A well-respected owner managed Lloyds Broker in the City that has gained a worldwide reputation for offering a first-class service within the PI and medical indemnity insurance arena, and who have shown rapid growth over the last 5 years are now recruiting into their offices in EC3R, and are looking for someone to join them as a Senior Broker Technician.

The company is looking to add an ambitious insurance professional with experienced gained working in the Lloyds market, to its team, getting the chance to support brokers who are broking into both the UK and international markets.

You will be responsible for producing slips and endorsements, issuing insurance documents, TOBA set ups, TOBS reports, assisting credit control, and other general office support duties, working with a very experienced team of PI and MI Insurance professionals as well as the board of Directors. You will also use the ECF system, Xchanging and Lloyds systems such as Crystal/AIF. You will also have one more Junior Technician who will report into you.

To be considered for this role, you will need at least 4 years’ experience gained in a broker Technician/Support role, and ideally have the Cert CII qualification, although this is not essential. Importantly, they need someone that has at least 2 years’ experience with Total Objects/Global XB and be very strong in using this. They are looking for someone who can be the technical lead on this, and as such this is a Minimum requirement for this role so please do not apply if you do not have this experience.

You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £35-45k, dependant on experience plus company benefits such as Private Healthcare and Private Dental care plans.
