Commercial Broking Team Leader

As such we are keen to speak to you if you are an experienced Commercial Broker/Account Handler, who would be interested in taking up a team leading role.

 

You will also need to have the desire to absolutely rock at what you do, working for a company who rewards you for doing it! They invest heavily in their staff with internal and external training and offer a grown-up working culture where you will be encouraged to self-manage!

 

Based in Maidstone, Kent. This broker is a decent size (currently 52 staff) and have grown impressively since their inception in 2009, and have further big, exciting and innovate plans to develop the business going forward.

 

Due to these plans, they are now looking for someone to join them as a number 2, to a commercial manager as a Team Leader. You will be responsible for handling a range of commercial risks, with a number of schemes under a DA, dealing with renewals and new business, and supporting the Commercial Manager, by managing a small team of Account Handlers.

 

The MD feels they offer something a bit different, being non corporate, and being an organisation that has a genuinely rewarding culture, both professionally and personally. All in all, they feel they are a “special” place to work, and would love to hear from you if you would like to work in this sort of environment where everyone enjoys what they do and has a smile on their face doing it!

 

As above they would like to speak you if you have at least 4 years commercial broking experience and have soft management experience as a Senior Account Handler managing more junior team members of bona fide team leading experience.

 

In return, the salary on offer is £32-38k depending on experience, plus bonus, with 20 days holiday to start. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:15pm. They also throw an amazing Christmas do every year, and have a ton of company events, including a summer BBQ and even a local football team!
