Trainee Claims Advisor

A growing insurance claims organisation who have exciting plans for the future and as such are now looking for people who want to join them on this journey.

 

They are currently recruiting for one of their claims teams and have openings for enthusiastic, reliable professionals who have call centre, customer service or insurance based experience to join their growing team as Trainee Claims Advisors, as they can provide full training, and professional study support too! You will just need strong IT skills, a sparkling telephone manner, and be comfortable handling up to 50 calls a day!

 

The Company encourage ongoing professional development and will support those individuals looking to progress their career within the insurance sector, in attaining Chartered Institute of Insurance qualifications.

 

Based on the Property Clams team you will be responsible for managing customer relations, taking inbound and outbound calls, handling the first notification of loss for a Customers new claims.

This will involve liaising with a broad selection of insurers, building relationships with third parties such as Contractors, Surveyors and Legal Advisors, gathering customer details, recording information accurately on the company’s internal claim management system and providing customers with claim and repair updates

 

To be considered you will need to have some customer service-based experience as above, with a proactive and helpful approach to your work and your customers. Skills that are also sought are a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent IT skills and a confident telephone manner, with the most important thing of all being your attitude to be a success in your career!

 

In return the basic salary is £17-20,500, depending on experience with a company pension scheme, an annual bonus of circa £800 and support for Cert CII qualification.

 

  • 40-hour week – contract will be 8am to 22.00pm Monday to Friday but they are open 8am to 6pm. Half an hour for lunch
