Marketing Assistant

 

We are currently recruiting for an ambitious junior marketing assistant to join a forward-thinking team within a Lloyds Insurance Broker based in the heart of the City of London. They are looking for someone to start with them on 1/1/2021, so please only apply if you are able to start on this date!

If you have a natural ability to champion a brand, challenge the status quo and look at the finer details then this role is for you. Candidates MUST have experience in SEO, Google AdWords, Social Media Management as well as having superb communication skills and natural flair for creative marketing. Those with any experience gained within insurance and financial services would be at a distinct advantage, although they are happy to speak to anyone with at least 6 months – 1 years work experience in a similar role.

You will be involved in all areas of this businesses marketing strategy, collaborating cross functionally with product, sales and the wider business teams, helping to create and push various marketing initiatives to grow the businesses brand.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree – marketing degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen interest to learn all aspects of the marketing function
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with the ability to handle tasks proactively and independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadline

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Proven experience in or knowledge of Marketing and/or Communications
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, B2B technology
  • Understanding of business strategy and in relation to the marketing function

 

Salary on offer is £18-20,000, depending on skills and experience with flexible home working. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
