Household Claims Handler

We are currently recruiting for a privately owned Chartered Insurance Broker and professional risk advisory business, with offices in Middlesex and West Sussex. They service large quoted companies, privately owned organisations, and wealthy individuals all over the UK and overseas.

 

As independent experts with over 60 years’ experience, there is not much they have not seen. If the worst does happen, then their in-house Claims team is there to give help when it is needed most. 

 

Claims professionals are the ‘Shop Front’ of the Insurance sector and this area is one of the most challenging and rewarding environments within the industry, and they are now looking for a new Personal Lines Claims Handler.

 

Their Personal Lines Claims Team, based in Twickenham, handle a wide variety of claims for many different clients who have home, motor, travel and personal accident insurance policies with them.

This role offers you a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team and work for a company that will support you with developing skills in all aspects of Claims Handling, enabling you to manage claims from cradle to grave up to a high financial limit under our various Delegated Authority arrangements.

 

Playing an integral part in the Personal Claims Team and wider Personal Division, you’ll have a good understanding of Household Insurance products and be confident to take ownership of you clients with positivity, passion and professionalism.

 

So, if you have been handling Home claims at either an insurer, broker or in a Loss Adjusting firm, enjoy solving problems, are an analytical thinker and pride yourself on being a resilient people person, not afraid to ask questions, then we want to hear from you!

 

You will also be an enthusiastic, confident communicator with strong customer service values and be able to show demonstrable ability to work under pressure in a varied environment.

 

A highly competitive salary on offer, plus excellent company benefits. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5pm
