Commercial Account Handler (Personal Lines experience considered)

We have a genuinely exciting opportunity available to join a very successful broking group, who are now looking to add to their commercial team, with the appointment of a new broker in their office in Altrincham, and will consider anyone with at least 1 years broking experience, be it commercial or personal lines!

 

They have an attractive office space with room to grow and plans to do so over the coming years, so this is a great time to join them, and work on a team that have big plans.

 

This broker specialises in general commercial insurance with a particular emphasis on the SME market, and are looking for a new sales focused Account handler to join them to help them continue to grow.

 

They provide a working culture that is close knit and friendly, but professional and hardworking at the same time and they aim to deliver a fantastic service for their clients at all times. 
 

You will be responsible for the servicing of new and existing Commercial Insurance clients, being tasked with winning new commercial business to, with this being key initially as you look to establish the commercial desk within this brokerage. You will also handle renewals for new and existing clients, as well as liaising with Insurers/Underwriters.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has gained at least 1 years Commercial or Personal Lines Insurance broking experience, who would like to expand their skills and knowledge as this broker are renowned for their ongoing training and development, whilst this also represents a great opportunity for a more experienced Account Handler, looking for a new challenge. Those with the Cert CII qualification would be at a distinct advantage, although this is not essential.

 

Salary on offer is £25-30k depending on skills and experience. Salary reviews are also undertaken every year for which they heavily reward staff who have exceeded their expectations.

 

Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm.
