Placing Broker - Canadian Markets

A well-respected owner managed Lloyds Broker in the City that has gained a worldwide reputation for offering a first-class service within the PI and medical indemnity insurance arena, and who have shown rapid growth over the last 5 years are now recruiting into their offices based in Billingsgate for a Broker, who specialises in the Canadian market.

They provide a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career and stay somewhere for the long term, with a real team culture!

The company is looking to add ambitious commercial insurance professionals to the broking team, working on Canadian markets, handling Financial Lines, Life Sciences and complex liabilities.

You will be required to work with broker partners, intermediaries and Coverholders in Canada to develop innovative solutions and provide a market leading service.

To be considered for this role, you will need at to already be  established in this market, with a strong list of contacts and relationships already in place within the Canadian market.

You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, as well as being extremely driven and highly ambitious, with the ability to maintain and develop business relationships and nurture business accounts with very professional people.

Salary on offer is dependent on experience, but we have been advised anything from £40-70k depending on your background, plus bonuses and benefits.
