Insurance Administrator - Would suit a college leaver or recent graduate

We are currently working with an independent Insurance Broker, who are now seeking to recruit either an office junior, who has recently finished College or a university graduate, to join them in their Surbiton office, or an experienced insurance professional, who perhaps is looking to move out of the City into a more local role.

This role would suit an individual looking to start a great career in insurance as the position offers full training and offers the successful individual the opportunity to gain qualifications within the sector to become a fully qualified Insurance account handler, with full support on offer to complete the Cert CII exams.

 

You will be required to liaise with clients via telephone and email, provide support to the broking team with all administration duties, respond to queries and enquires via email and telephone, update and maintain accurate records and files, update and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with lots of data processing and updating of database systems.

 

You will also be trained to prepare new business quotations for new and existing clients, support busy renewal activities, and ensuring high levels of business retention - collating renewal dates/diaries and preparing information for renewal terms as well as liaising with Insurers/Underwriters and liaising with senior account handlers for guidance an instruction when required

 

This is a full-time role, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm with one hour for lunch.

 

Salary is £20-25,000 depending on skills and experience . Please note for college leavers and graduates, the salary on offer is circa £20,000
