Commercial Claims Manager

We are currently recruiting for a well-known insurance group, who have a rarely available opportunity come up to join them as a Commercial Claims Manager, to manage a small team, reporting into the Claims Director, and deputising for them when they are not in the office/on leave.

They are keen to hear from experienced Commercial Claims professionals, who want to be part of something exciting! They have big plans for this area of the business, so this is a superb time to be joining them, with lots of opportunities internally moving forward.

You will not have line management responsibility but will be their Claims Director’s right hand person, so will be in charge when they are away etc. People management experience is not essential, but preferable, but our client are happy to look at someone who has excellent technical experience (minimum 5 years’ experience) and looking to advance their career, as well as managing your own portfolio of claims.

You and your team will handle Commercial Property and Liability claims for clients across Ireland and Europe.

You will be required to deal with the day-to-day processing of larger/more complex claims including review and assistance where coverage is disputed, ensuring that bordereaux are processed in a timely manner by the team and funds are kept topped up, maintaining relationships with Third party Administrators and ensuring the efficient running of outsourced contracts as well as setting up new TPA agreements. 

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 5 years commercial claims experience, with strong property and Casualty claims experience. ECF experience is also required and would be a bonus if you already have London market experience!

You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £40-50k, dependant on experience. 28 days holiday, and an extensive benefits package, are also available!!!

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with you needing to be in the London office 1 day a week (Thursdays) and working from home for the remainder of the week.
