Commercial Claims Handler

We are currently recruiting for a well-known insurance group, who have a rarely available opportunity come up to join them as a Commercial Claims Handler, based out of their City office.

You will be responsible handling a portfolio of Commercial Property and Liability claims for clients across Ireland and Europe.

This is a varied role within the London Market Broking claims team, consisting of but not limited to the following:

Presenting claims to Insurers via email and ECF, corresponding with solicitors, loss adjustors and Brokers to discuss new and outstanding claims, registering claims and First Notice of Loss “FNOL”, day to day handling Property & Casualty claims, preparation and presentation of claims bordereaux

You will also be required to proactively manage a diary of open claims to reduce claim lifecycles as well as any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required from time to time. You will also be required to build and maintain relationships with aligned wholesale brokers.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 2 years commercial claims experience, with Property and Casualty claims experience, ideally gained at a broker. It would also be a bonus if you already have London market experience and have used ECF.

You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £30-40k, dependant on experience. 28 days holiday, and an extensive benefits package, are also available!!!

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with you needing to be in the London office 3 days a week then being able to work from home for the other 2 days of the week.
