Junior Graphic Designer (in-house)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Graphic Designer to produce innovative and creative content for our client, who are a growing City based Insurance firm.

Whilst working closely with their Marketing Director and Marketing manager, you will be tasked with bringing your own creative flair to the role to support the marketing team in designing a wide array of digital and print media from initial concept through to completion such as promotional/design materials, social media assets, graphics for insurance events, internal screensavers,  presentation/tender documents, digital advertising assets , email templates and company brochures.

This is a brand-new role for this business, and they continue to grow impressively, so a really great opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark here, and really make the role your own, as currently these duties are outsourced, and with your appointment they will be able to bring all their graphic design work in-house.

This represents a great opportunity for graduates in graphic design looking for their first role, or someone who has a small amount of practical graphic design work experience (6-12 months)

You will need to be Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop whilst also having a familiarity with Microsoft Office. Educated to degree level or equivalent in graphic design, motion graphics or digital design. You will have creative flair and strong eye for detail and layout precision with great organisational and communication skills.

You will also need to be confident and outgoing with the ability to use own initiative to prioritise workload. A basic understanding of Adobe Premier Pro & After Effects would be advantageous as would a basic understanding in web design and WordPress whoever these are not essential for you to be considered.

In return, the basic salary on offer is £25-30k depending on experience, plus bonus as well as other company benefits such as Private Healthcare and Private Dental care plans. They also regularly go out as a team and have even recently done a company trip to Malta!

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, with 4 days in the office and working from home one day a week.
