Location: London office with hybrid home working
Terms: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week, with flexibility as required)
Salary: £40,000 per annum plus discretionary annual bonus, private pension, health insurance, and support for study towards professional qualifications

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Loss Adjusting Analyst to join a growing and forward-thinking business. Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will initially support senior loss adjusters and forensic accountants on renewable energy claims through analysis of business interruption and cost-related data.
This is a development role with a clear path towards becoming a fully qualified Loss Adjuster, eventually handling your own caseload from first notification through to settlement. The position will also include involvement in marketing activities to help grow the company’s profile.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist loss adjusters in the handling and management of claims.
  • Support forensic accountants in the quantification of business interruption losses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate claims reporting.
  • Maintain and complete timesheets for billable work.
  • Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and presentations.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Graduate degree, ideally in an analytical or numerical discipline.
  • Interest in pursuing professional qualifications such as ACII, ACILA, or ACA.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent report writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable working at heights as part of on-site investigations.
