Commercial Account Executive

We are currently working with a well-established UK Insurance broking Group, who now have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to join them in their Stratford office.

They are heavily focused on the SME market space, so experience in this area would be ideal. They are keen to hear from experienced Account Execs and would also consider new business focused Account Handlers, who are looking to take the next step in their broking career.

You’ll work closely with experienced senior leaders who genuinely want to see you succeed. You’ll be encouraged to grow your book, identify cross-selling and referral opportunities, and build long-term client relationships based on trust and understanding—not transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop a portfolio of commercial clients through new business and renewals
  • Handle new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
  • Take the time to understand clients’ businesses, risks, and future plans
  • Liaise with underwriters to secure competitive, tailored solutions
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximise account value
  • Manage your workload effectively to ensure regulatory compliance at all times

You’ll bring:

  • Experience selling and/or handling Commercial Combined, Property, and Liability risks
  • Experience dealing with commercial clients
  • A strong drive to meet and exceed targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and systems confidently
