Our client designs, builds and installs bespoke factory automation systems for customers across the UK and internationally. Their projects span robotics, vision inspection, conveyors, manufacturing process equipment and packaging machinery, with a reputation for delivering automation solutions that others simply can't.
Due to continued expansion, they're looking to appoint an experienced Robotics Integration Engineer to become a key member of their close-knit engineering team.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering robotics solutions from concept through to commissioning. You'll collaborate closely with mechanical design and controls engineers to integrate robotics into complete turnkey automation systems for customers across a variety of manufacturing sectors, particularly food & beverage and plastics.
This is a hands-on role that combines design, programming, commissioning, project ownership and customer interaction, with regular travel throughout the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada.

What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and programming robotic automation solutions
- Integrating robotics into larger turnkey automation projects
- Taking ownership of projects from concept through to customer sign-off
- Installation and commissioning of systems both in the UK and overseas
- Servicing, fault finding and optimisation of existing equipment
- Managing projects and ensuring successful delivery
- Training and mentoring colleagues in robotics technologies
- Working closely with customers to deliver exceptional solutions
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Robotics Engineers who have a strong background in industrial automation and a genuine passion for solving engineering challenges.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Industrial robotics integration and programming
- One or more of the following robot platforms:
- Fanuc
- ABB
- Kawasaki
- Nachi
- Manufacturing and industrial automation environments
- Industrial control systems
- Industrial networking including EtherNET and ProfiNET
Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, HMI programming or project management would be highly advantageous but isn't essential.

- Is happy to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Holds a full UK driving licence

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 2:00pm
(Flexibility is required during installation and overseas commissioning projects.)
