Night Shift Metal Shop Supervisor

Job Description:

A well-established manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Metal shop Supervisor

Reporting directly to the Night Shift Production Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Metal Shop and Powder Coating operations on the night shift. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong people management skills and a solid technical background in sheet metal fabrication.

You will lead, motivate, and develop your team, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved while supporting the overall performance of the night shift.

The manufacturing processes includes Fibre Laser Cutting, Press Brake Forming, Welding and Powder Coating, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable working across these operations and supporting the team whenever required.

A key part of the role is providing technical expertise, particularly the setting up of Fibre Laser and Press Brake machines, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience leading and developing teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating Fibre Laser and Press Brake machines.
• A good understanding of welding and powder coating operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity

Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Monday -Thursday 6PM -6AM Night Shift

Monday -Friday 8am- 4.30pm Day shift from
