London | £30,000–£38,000 | Hybrid – Three Days in the Office and Two from Home
Do you have between one and three years’ experience working with individual Private Medical Insurance policies and feel ready to take the next step in your career?
This is an excellent opportunity to progress into SME Private Medical Insurance and take responsibility for an established portfolio of approximately 200 clients.
The portfolio is currently managed by the company’s Managing Director, who will personally hand a decent proportion of clients over to you. This will give you a structured introduction to each account, including its history, relationships and servicing requirements.
Previous Individual private medical insurance experience is essential. The business is primarily interested in finding someone with a solid grounding in individual PMI who is enthusiastic, organised and ready to develop.
The Opportunity
You will gradually take ownership of approximately 200 SME PMI clients, providing support throughout the policy lifecycle and building strong, long-term client relationships.
Working closely with the Managing Director, advisers, insurers and healthcare providers, you will assist with renewals, policy amendments, client queries and ongoing administration.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone in the early stages of their PMI career who wants greater responsibility, exposure to SME clients and the chance to develop within a supportive and experienced brokerage.
Key Responsibilities
Taking ownership of an established portfolio of approximately 200 SME PMI clients
Working with the Managing Director during a structured client handover
Supporting clients throughout the policy lifecycle
Preparing and administering policy renewals
Assisting with client retention and renewal negotiations
Processing mid-term adjustments and policy amendments
Responding to client servicing queries
Liaising with insurers and healthcare providers
Supporting advisers with policy administration
Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
Developing trusted relationships with clients and providers
About You
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
Between one and three years’ Private Medical Insurance experience
Experience working with individual or personal PMI policies
A background within an insurance brokerage or insurer
An understanding of renewals, policy administration and client servicing
Strong organisation and communication skills
The confidence to speak with clients, insurers and healthcare providers
A genuine interest in progressing into SME Private Medical Insurance
The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
Full support will be provided as you develop into the role and take ownership of the portfolio.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £30,000–£38,000, depending on experience
