Systems Consultant
Systems Consultant – Acturis
Location: TBC
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
I’ve recruited for this business for some time and know them to be a well-established, growing insurance organisation where people really do have the opportunity to make a difference.
I’m currently looking for an experienced Systems Consultant with strong Acturis knowledge to join their team and provide hands-on systems support to their network of brokers.
This is a varied role, so it’s not simply about sitting behind a helpdesk. You’ll be working closely with brokers and internal teams, helping people get the most from Acturis, supporting projects and new system builds, identifying where improvements can be made and providing additional support when needed.
What will you be doing?
Providing day-to-day support to users across the business, both by phone and email.
Helping manage the internal helpdesk and resolving Acturis-related queries.
Using your Acturis knowledge to advise brokers on system functionality and processes.
Identifying common issues or knowledge gaps and helping put solutions in place.
Creating and maintaining user guides, training and support materials.
Supporting Acturis projects, system improvements and new software releases.
Managing Acturis projects for brokers and head office.
Taking ownership of the onboarding process for Acturis builds, ensuring systems are set up correctly and specific broker requirements are addressed.
Keeping accurate records of support tickets and user queries.
Visiting brokers where more in-depth Acturis support is required.
Supporting new starter processes and other general systems administration.
Keeping an eye on other systems and CRMs used by brokers and identifying where support or maintenance may be needed.
Looking for opportunities to continually improve the way systems are used across the business.
What are they looking for?
You’ll ideally have:
At least 3 years’ experience using Acturis.
Strong general IT and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience within a customer service or user-support environment.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with people at all levels.
Good organisation and time-management skills.
A natural ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve and get to the bottom of issues.
The confidence to work independently, while also knowing when to ask for support.
A collaborative approach and the ability to build good relationships with both internal teams and brokers.
The role
This would suit someone who enjoys being the go-to person for systems support and likes variety in their day.
You’ll have the opportunity to use your existing Acturis knowledge but also get involved in projects, improvements, training and working directly with brokers. It’s a role where being approachable, practical and good with people is just as important as being technically knowledgeable.
If you’re an experienced Acturis user looking for a role where you can broaden your experience and become a key part of the systems function, I’d be really interested in having a conversation with you.
