The Role
You will advise individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters, providing clear, practical guidance and supporting clients through important decisions about their estates and future planning.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting wills and advising on estate planning.
Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Managing probate and estate administration, including intestate estates.
Advising on inheritance tax and the administration of complex estates where appropriate.
Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a personal, responsive service.
Managing your own caseload, ensuring files progress efficiently and meet the required professional standards.
Developing relationships with existing clients and professional contacts to support future business.
Contributing to the continued development of the firm's private client services.

What We're Looking For
A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in private client law.
A solid background in wills, probate, estate administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
The ability to manage a caseload independently and provide clear, practical legal advice.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, professional approach to sensitive matters.
An organised and detail-oriented approach to file management and compliance.
The confidence to develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client care.
Candidates with STEP membership or additional private client qualifications would be welcomed, particularly where this supports experience with trusts, tax planning or more complex estate matters.
Salary & Benefits
Salary of £45,000–£60,000, depending on experience.
