Are you a Family Solicitor looking for a role where you can develop your expertise, build meaningful client relationships and take ownership of your own caseload? An established law firm is looking to strengthen its family law offering in Stratford-upon-Avon, offering an opportunity for a solicitor with at least two years’ PQE to join a professional, client-focused environment and play an active role in supporting individuals and families through important life changes.
The Role
You will advise clients on a range of family law matters, providing clear, practical and sensitive guidance throughout what can often be challenging circumstances.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing your own caseload of privately funded family matters.
Advising on divorce and separation, including associated financial matters.
Handling financial remedy proceedings and negotiating financial settlements.
Advising on arrangements for children, including child arrangements and specific issue disputes.
Drafting applications, statements, consent orders and other relevant legal documentation.
Representing clients in negotiations and working towards constructive resolutions wherever possible.
Liaising with counsel, mediators and other professionals where appropriate.
Keeping clients informed throughout their matters and ensuring their expectations are managed effectively.
Maintaining accurate files, meeting deadlines and complying with professional and regulatory requirements.
Building relationships with clients and professional contacts to support the continued development of the practice.
The Opportunity

You'll be able to work closely with clients, guide them through sensitive personal circumstances and help them reach practical outcomes, whether through negotiation, mediation or court proceedings where necessary.

What We're Looking For
A qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in family law.
Experience managing a family law caseload with an appropriate level of independence.
A solid understanding of divorce, financial remedy matters and children law.
Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
The ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism and sound judgement.
Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
A commercially aware approach, with an interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development.
A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high standards of client care.
Additional family law accreditation or Resolution membership would be advantageous.
