The Role
You’ll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision, overseeing transactions from instruction through to completion while delivering a high standard of client service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling residential sales and purchases across freehold and leasehold properties.
Managing remortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions.
Advising on Deeds of Variation, Right to Buy and shared ownership schemes.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients, estate agents and mortgage lenders.
Ensuring transactions progress efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with relevant regulations.
Managing your workload, meeting agreed fee-earning targets and contributing to the success of the wider team.
Supporting and developing assistants and paralegals.
Responding to client enquiries in person, by telephone and through remote communication.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a well-established residential property team in Stow-on-the-Wold, where you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while benefiting from the support of an established legal practice.
You’ll be trusted to take responsibility for your transactions, maintain strong professional relationships and contribute to the ongoing success of the team. With exposure to a varied range of residential property matters, the role offers scope to apply your existing experience while continuing to develop your expertise.

What We're Looking For
A qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer, or an experienced conveyancing fee earner with a proven track record of managing their own caseload.
At least three years’ post-qualification experience or equivalent practical experience in residential conveyancing.
Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions, sales, purchases and remortgages.
Experience handling a varied caseload, including matters such as shared ownership, transfers of equity and lease extensions.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Confidence using web-based case management systems and other legal technology.
A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of fee targets and efficient file management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts.
The ability to work independently while supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team.
