Kieran Boyle

Founder and Managing Director

I started my career working in insurance after leaving college, and I spent 8 years working in the Insurance Market for several leading Insurers including RSA, Zurich and Direct Line Group, working in various claims roles. I started in Recruitment back in 2007, after going into a Reed Insurance branch to register as a candidate, then being asked if I would consider interviewing for a job with them, and 2 weeks later I was starting out my journey in recruitment.

I then spent 10 years working for some of the leading Insurance Recruitment Agencies, before I decided to draw on the experience I had gained to launch CKB Recruitment back in 2017. I basically live and breathe the insurance market and have now had the honour of having been in it or associated with it for 25 years!

I am a father of 2 boys, who are my world and my reason for setting up the business really, as I wanted to be able to have a better work life balance when they were little. This has changed with the growth of the business, but I was able to enjoy a few years of school pick-ups and everything in between, which was priceless.

I am also a massive football nut, supporting Crystal Palace and what little spare time I have is spent coaching my sons football team, Hardwicke Rangers Colts here in sunny Gloucester

Senior Recruitment Consultant

I started my recruitment career in the late 90’s! …it was a role, like many in the industry, I fell into while living in London. My recruitment life began while looking for temp work, I was offered a job to work for a well- known high street agency as a receptionist and that was it, I caught the bug!. I then spent 8 years working for mainly new start up high street branches to then moving over to a large well know corporate financial firm which took me to Australia for a couple of years.

Fast forward, after 13 years out of the industry, I joined CKB recruitment in April 2023. I was particularly drawn to the agency being an independent agency who are down to earth, supportive, and professional. Recruitment is an interactive and engaging environment to work in, which is ideal for me, as I LOVE working with people. I also really enjoy getting to know our candidates on a personal level, It’s so satisfying to help our candidates create a successful career path for themselves.
